Are the Treehouses pet friendly?

We love our pets! All our treehouses are pet-friendly! The flat fee is $75 and you are limited to two pets (dogs and cats only).

We ask that:

  • Pets are leashed

  • Pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm preventive is highly recommended

  • Pets should be treated with flea and tick repellant

  • Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse.

  • Pets must not cause damage to premises or furnishings (if damages are caused, the guest will be charged)

  • Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in is between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. However, we ask that you arrive by 5:30 pm so that we have time to properly check you in and show you how to use the wood-fired hot tub. Without being adequately checked in, you will not be able to use the hot tub wood stove. If you can not check-in before 6:00 pm, call our office to make arrangements.

To be courteous to our incoming guests check-out is before 10:30 a.m.

 Are children allowed?

Of course!  We want children to have fun and enjoy this adventure in the treetops.  But it goes without saying that children must be supervised at all times. The terrain varies from level to steep, and pathways can be slippery.  Each treehouse has steep drop-offs.   It is very important that children be supervised at all times and we ask that there is no running on decks, no climbing on railing, no climbing in trees, no climbing on the roof, no horseplay, no throwing rocks, this is not an all-inclusive list but only general in nature of items that should not be allowed under any circumstances.

Please be mindful of the maximum number of total guests per treehouse (White Oak - 6 guests, Maple - 6 guests, Beech - 4 guests, Hemlock - 2 guests). Children count towards the total guest count.

Are you open year round?

Yes! Our treehouses are climate-controlled to keep you warm or cool depending on the season! While the busiest season in the Hocking Hills runs March-October, there is no bad time to visit. Winter offers a quiet and relaxing time with amazing views of a snowy landscape and frozen waterfalls. The Hocking Hills awakens again in the Spring with the arrival of wildflowers and flowing waterfalls. Summertime in the Hocking Hills is filled with outdoor activities - hiking, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, zip lining, rock-climbing! Fall foliage in the Hocking Hills is a site to be seen! The fall landscape is filled with a gold, orange, and red canopy.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

You must be at least 24 years old to make a reservation at Hocking Hills Treehouse Cabins.
